Eastern Arizona College (EAC) has completed a transformative $8 million renovation of two key student life hubs—the Gherald L. Hoopes Jr. Activities Center and Mark Allen Hall. This extensive upgrade enhances the student experience by revitalising shared spaces that foster connection, improve functionality, and support day-to-day campus life.
As part of the redevelopment, botton+gardiner, in conjunction with Pinnacle Contract Solutions, was proud to contribute to the project with a large volume of outdoor furniture tailored for both durability and visual impact.
We supplied 29 Sorrento Café Square Tables and Bar Tables, 64 Sorrento Low Stools, and 26 Sorrento Bar Stools across the newly designed outdoor communal areas, helping to create inviting environments where students can gather, relax, and engage.
Each piece was finished in a striking black satin and custom purple powdercoat, echoing EAC’s vibrant school colours and reinforcing campus identity through cohesive design. Built with hard-wearing Duraslat battens in Summit, the furniture is engineered to endure the demands of high-use student areas while maintaining its sleek, contemporary look.
Overall, the renovation has reinvigorated these vital student spaces, reinforcing EAC’s commitment to remain a leader in student-centered campus design. The result is a vibrant, functional environment that supports both academic success and everyday student life.
